Wow! That is awesome!

@Sparrow K, thank you for your courses! I asked a question on YT, and you said the answer will be in the advanced course, but I'm not seeing it, lol. When working a chain with your technique without flipping, how do you then join that chain without locking it?

And to expand, is it possible to make a double stitch (Lark's head) join when working a chain in your technique?

Hi! So when making joins with my method of chains, it's the same as with a regular join just upside down. So pull up a loop of the Shuttle 2 thread and pass the Shuttle 1 through it. Because the Shuttle 1 is wrapped around the pinky of the left hand you do have to drop the Shuttle 2 and pick up the Shuttle 1 to do it this way, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fast. If you prefer, you can also use the method I show in how to join on the second half of a split ring. The main thing to remember about standard joins is that you need them to slide, so the loop must always be made from the same thread that is making the stitches, with the core thread passing through it. Once you can train your brain to think of it in this way rather than "shuttle 1/shuttle 2" it becomes much less confusing! And absolutely yes you can make a larks head join this way! Again, it's just upside down, so finagling the little double loop can be a bit tricky, but once you get it it makes sense. I will try to make a video for you when I can (I'm a bit swamped with other work at the moment, so please do remind me if I forget!)

August Pattern Club Preview: The Tell-Tale Box

Okay, I have to admit that this might be my favorite pattern of this series so far! I just had to include the eye on the inside of the lid and I'm obsessed with how it came out!

Pattern file is up in the Pattern Club group :)

Advanced Course Early Launch!

Hello friends! I'm delighted to announce that the Advanced course is LIVE!

Even more exciting - Pattern Club Bundle members already have access!

After some consideration, I decided that rather than offering a slew of different bundles and confusing options, I would keep it simple and update the current bundle to include everything.

To reflect this added value, the price of this plan will be increasing on August 1st to $18/mo.

However! This increase will only effect new members. Current members who have subscribed prior to August 1st will retain the original pricing plan at $16/mo. So consider this your opportunity to lock in the original price before Saturday!

I guess the Bonus/tension video stops mid sentence, but again, I love your style of teaching
