I am getting ready to start a pattern for a dragonfly. It says to start by creating a picot at the top of the head with an overhand knot. Help, how do I do that? I’m sure it’s not as hard as I’m making it but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. Oh I should also mention that this is the start to the split ring body using 2 shuttles.

What Sparrow posted is what I was thinking, too. It looks like you might be making a long picot to cut in half later for the antennae?
