Pocket Crafts Club

Progress on putting the next course together has been slow, but I'm in the home stretch! We are down to editing and uploading, with only a few videos remaining to record. With launch in sight, here's a little preview about what this course will and will not cover:

What it will cover:

• Posted rings & nested chains

• Understanding Tension

• Advanced Reverse Rings (for consistent front side/back side tatting)

• Split Rings (including how to make joins on the second half)

• Split Chains & Bridge Chains (this also covers how to tat over an object)

• Mock Rings

• Specialty Joins & Stitches (larks head join, catherine wheel join, shoe lace trick, balanced double stitch, and stem stitch)

Things it will not cover:

• Celtic Tatting (while I have taught this before and do use the technique occasionally, I feel that the resources provided by well known celtic tatter Ruth Perry are far better, and recommend anyone wanting to learn this technique check out her work.)

• Beading and embellishments (This will be getting it's own seperate course later on, as there is just too much to cover in a single lesson.)
